Citrix Among the Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion

Citrix Among the Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – July 17, 2019Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTXS) today announced it has been named to the 2019 Disability Equality Index® Best Places to Work by Disability:IN and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD).

“At Citrix, we are continuously working to create an environment of belonging, where we all feel that we fit in, can take risks and are empowered to contribute to the business as ourselves,” said Donna Kimmel, Chief People Officer, Citrix. “Our diverse workforce spans multiple generations, speaks more than 35 languages, and lives and operates in more than 40 countries. As we collaborate with others who think and work differently, we break down barriers and overcome our preconceptions. It’s a powerfully creative process that allows us to innovate, makes our work more satisfying and helps us better meet the needs of our customers, and we are pleased to be recognized by the Disability Equality Index for our efforts.”

The Disability Equality Index (DEI) is a unique, joint initiative of Disability:IN and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and serves as the nation’s most comprehensive annual benchmarking tool for America’s leading corporations to self-report their disability policies and practices.

“The DEI helps companies measure their own progress on disability inclusion and challenges them to improve their policies and practices – not just because it’s the right thing to do, but also because it’s also good for business,” said Ted Kennedy, Jr., disability rights attorney and board chair of AAPD in announcing the results of this year’s benchmark. “Research shows that companies that champion disability inclusion significantly outperform their peers across key financial indices including revenue, net income, profit margins and shareholder returns. AAPD is truly impressed by this year’s DEI participation and we’re proud to collaborate with the business community to prioritize industry-wide disability inclusion practices.”
